Dog1

Ever notice how a dog lives?
With enough food and a shelter over its head, the dog is happy just the way it is. It is contented. Unlike most of us who chase after materialistic ideals, the doing wants nothing more than the basic needs to survive.

Life is simple for the dog and it greets each day with renewed enthusiasm as it was something new all over again even though it is routine.

I have a dog at home. Everyday as I walk back from school, this pet of mine will rush upstairs and greet my coming home with such energy, tail wagging and all. Day after day, this little dog does the same tihng, greeting me with that keenness, ask if everytime was the first time for it. Everytime I walked back from school after a long day, my spirit is weary so is my body. But, as I looked at that dog with its forelegs up on the rails of the gate, with its tail wagging rapidly, I am reminded of how I should take routinely ordeals with similar enthusiasm.

Now, what if we could be more like the dog? To be able to take life’s daily challenges with such enthusiasm. To be contented with what we have. To lead a happy and uncomplicated life. Is that not what most of us are looking for, happiness?

Think about it.

Hi there to you all. This is my first time writing a blog so i have no idea where to start. Let’s see….

Here’s a strange topic:
Have you ever seen those japanese socks with that looks like a glove? In that sense, with hole for you toes to fit and all. Try to imagine gloves for your feet! These strange footwears are dubbed as “toes socks” The term “fits like a glove comes into mind

Why? you ask, do the Japanese people take the time and effort to manifest such a queer product? The reason is actually quite obvious. To be able to wear sandals and slippers with your sock on! It also make it more flexible as one can change from wearing shoes to slippers without having to take off one’s socks.

Probably that the fact the weather is cold that this product was made, to be able to wear slippers while keeping your feet warm. But then again, why would anyone wear slippers in the first place if the weather is cold? I have no idea. This isn’t ancient japan where they only wore sandals and for that they had the tabi!

I think it is for those places where you have to take off your shoes before you enter a room and put on in-house sandals. I think households there practise that. If that is not the reason, then it must be some weird fad, wearing socks that outlines your toes.
One word: strange…
